Chessmate (2022)

Synopsis: I documented people playing chess at Washington Square Park, some truly playing, others utilizing the peace of the area. This serves as a study of the chess tables at Washington Square Park, and as a companion piece to my Senior Thesis film, a fiction narrative of the same themes I documented.
